I nearly screamed with excitement because the STARBUCKS RED CUPS ARE BACK!!!
I LOVE Thanksgiving. It’s like Christmas with all the celebration and the thankful but without all the stress and commercialism (if you don’t count the fact that shopping now starts at 8:00 in the evening on Thanksgiving night. This homey don’t play that.)
I love the food.
I love the days off.
I love the fall everything, because in Texas it’s mostly more fall by then and maybe the high that day might only be 60! ::sarcasmfont:: Usually it’s not though and we’re roasty toasty outside while frying up the turkeys.
But you know what else November 1 brings besides Thanksgiving month? It brings the opportunity to start listening to Christmas music without even being a total freak! My girls Heather and Kristina totally get that and don’t think I’m totally cray. There’s no shame in my secret around them because they share it. Interested? Here’s my Pinterest board.
I love classic Christmas, country Christmas, and of course Mariah Carey’s Christmas pop anthem “All I want for Christmas is You.” I have quite a few albums (to put it nicely) on my iTunes but the one thing I really and truly want, is this guy to make a Christmas album:
He’s the ONE album I’ve always wanted but don’t have. I guess I’ll just hang on to St. Patrick’s Day and play it on repeat since it’s technically a Christmas song.
I love you turkey, but I love Christmas music more.
